No better way to celebrate the 25th anniversary of The Goon in 2024 than a brand new mini-series from Eric Powell and Dark Horse Comics!
The first issue of the new four-issue slugfest, The Goon: Them That Don’t Stay Dead, arrives on March 27, 2024, and naturally features the Goon and Franky battling a gang of bloodsuckers before an even more dire threat shows up in Nameless Town.
Powell said “It only speaks to the depravity and moral bankruptcy of the average comic reader that I have been able to continue this reprehensible book (off and on) for 25 years. And I love them for it. My enthusiasm for these characters hasn’t waned and I’m glad it seems the same goes for the loyal readers. And it’s also only fitting that this anniversary series coincides with its return to longtime publisher Dark Horse Comics.”
The Goon: Them That Don’t Stay Dead #1 will be available with a cover by Powell and one by Craig Davison.
