Kyle Rayner Rises in New ‘Green Lantern’ Compendium Edition

The mid-90s favorite Green Lantern Kyle Rayner gets the emerald spotlight in the new Green Lantern: Kyle Rayner Rising Compendium.

Ron Marz, Darryl Banks, and Romeo Tanghal place the ring on Kyle Rayner’s finger after Hal Jordan’s momentary lapse of reason (otherwise known as his Parallax phase) in Green Lantern #0 and #48-65, R.E.B.E.L.S. #1, New Teen Titans #116-117 and #124-125, Darkstars #34, Guy Gardner: Warrior #27-28, and Damage #16, adding another favorite to the Green Lantern Corps.

Although Marz, Banks, and Tanghal primarily guide the young Lantern through the DC Universe in his solo series, the softcover Compendium also contains scripts by Beau Smith, Tom Peyer, Marv Wolfman, Frank Pittarse, Michael Jan Friedman, and Tom Joyner, and art by Cully Hammer, Fred Haynes, Andy Smith, Joe St. Pierre, Mark Bright, Mike DeCarlo, Ron Lim, Terry Austin, William Rosado, Jason Martin, Keith Champagne, Mike Collins, Ken Branch, Mitch Byrd, Dan Davis, Jason Armstrong, Jordi Ensign, Phyllis Novin, Bill Willingham, Robert Campanella, Dennis Cramer, Steve Carr, Jamal Igle, Derec Aucoin, Craig Hamilton, Arnie Jorgensen, James Pascoe, J.B. Jones, Rich Rankin, and Keith Champagne.

The Green Lantern: Kyle Rayner Rising Compendium consists of 704 pages for a suggested retail price of $59.99.
