John Carpenter examines six influential horror and sci-fi films from his youth in July’s “The Carpenter Zone” on Turner Classic Movies.
TCM host Alicia Malone joins Carpenter for conversations and stories about the films for the two-night event, beginning on Thursday, July 16 at 8:00 pm ET with The Quatermass Xperiment, Them!, and It! The Terror from Beyond Space.
The Carpenter Zone wraps up on Thursday, July 23 at 8:00 pm ET with Hammer Studios The Curse of Frankenstein and The Mummy and Val Lewton’s Curse of the Demon.
Carpenter also recently hosted an episode of TCM’s Two for One where the director chose Universal’s Frankenstein and Hammer’s The Curse of Frankenstein.
