‘Spielberg: The First Ten Years’ Celebrates Filmmaker’s First Decade in Cinema

Spielberg: The First Ten Years offers an in-depth look at the stories, anecdotes, and images that cemented Spielberg’s legacy in the minds and hearts of film fans and critics everywhere.

Coming from Insight Editions on October 24th, and written by Spielberg’s longtime documentarian Laurent Bouzereau, the book covers all of his work staring with 1971’s Duel, continuing through The Sugarland ExpressJawsClose Encounters of the Third Kind1941Raiders of the Lost Ark, and ending with 1982’s E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial.

The First Ten Years also includes an introduction from friend and fellow filmmaker George Lucas and a foreword by frequent collaborator and composer extraordinaire John Williams.

Spielberg: The First Ten Years follows two other Spielberg-centric Inside Editions’ film explorations including Jurassic Park: The Ultimate Visual History and Close Encounters of the Third Kind: The Ultimate Visual History.

The hardcover Spielberg: The First Ten Years consists of 256 pages for a suggested retail price of $70.00.
