Seth Rogen to Produce CG ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ Movie Reboot for Nickelodeon

Seth Rogen’s next project will have Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fans shouting, “Cowabunga!” in celebration. The comic actor turned Preacher executive producer has set his sights on another classic comic book series to adapt to the video format.

Deadline reports that Rogen’s Point Grey Pictures will produce a new CG Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie reboot for Nickelodeon. Evan Goldberg and James Weaver are also set to produce the film. The trio are longtime collaborators, and they also served as executive producers for Amazon’s adaptation of The Boys. Goldberg and Weaver also served as executive producers of Preacher with Seth Rogen. After adapting these controversial and visceral Garth Ennis texts, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles should offer more family-friendly material for Point Grey Pictures, while still allowing for another opportunity to adapt the works of comic book greats. If they can do for Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird what they did for Garth Ennis, Turtles fans should end up very happy with this project.

Paramount is in charge of global distribution for the upcoming film. While there is no release date set for the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot, you can expect Conskipper to have full details on this exciting new project as soon as it breaks!
