Fathom Events continues their Big Screen Classics program with a film that nobody in 1983 figured would be deemed a “classic”, but somehow the blood-soaked corruption of the American Dream tale couldn’t be more popular 40 years later.
Fathom Events will present screenings of Brian DePalma’s Scarface on Sunday, November 12 and Wednesday, November 15, and you can consult the Fathom Events website for exact showtimes in your area.
The film that has been sampled in more hip hop songs than any other stars Al Pacino, Steven Bauer, Michelle Pfeiffer, Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio, and Robert Loggia.
Leonard Maltin will introduce the film to theater patrons as well.
Check out the Fathom trailer below, and if you plan on seeing the film again or for the first time on the big screen, for God’s sake, leave the yeyo at home this time!
