1977’s Godzilla series from Marvel Comics surfaces once again in a monster-sized Omnibus edition in the fall of 2024.
Godzilla: The Marvel Years Omnibus, by Doug Moench and Herb Trimpe, collects all 24 issues of the big lizard’s original comic series, with plenty of appearance from the stars of the Marvel Universe such as the Fantastic Four, the Avengers, the Champions, Nick Fury, Red Ronin, Devil Dinosaur, and your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man.
In addition to all the human and superhuman friends and foes, ‘Zilla also has to contend with various aliens, mutants, mad scientists, and fellow kaiju titans such as Batragon and Yetrigar.
The Omnibus is made possible through a new collaboration with Toho International, and one might expect new Godzilla material in the future if the interest in Marvel’s classic Godzilla comics takes off.
