There is a ‘Revolution In Latveria’ in New Doctor Doom Epic Collection

Doctor Doom’s chronological march of destruction through the Marvel Universe continues in the Revolution in Latveria Epic Collection.

Directly following the appearances collected in the first Enter…Doctor Doom Epic Collection, Revolution in Latveria includes Fantastic Four #84-87, 116, and 142-144, Sub-Mariner #20, 47-49, The Mighty Thor #182-183, The Incredible Hulk #143-144, Luke Cage: Power Man #8-9, Doom stories from Astonishing Tales #1-8.

All stories are written by Stan Lee, Archie Goodwin, Gerry Conway, Roy Thomas, Gary Friedrich, and Steve Englehart, with art by Jack Kirby, John Buscema, Rich Buckler, Gene Colan, Dick Ayers, George Tuska, Wally Wood, Joe Sinnott, Frank Giacoia, Johnny Craig, Mike Esposito, John Romita, Sr., John Severin, and Billy Graham.

Revolution in Latveria branches further outside of the confines of the Fantastic Four series, with Doom appearances that cross over from the Silver Age to the Bronze Age.

Highlights in the Epic Collection include a S.H.I.E.L.D. and Fantastic Four invasion of Victor Von Doom’s homeland, a three-way tussel between Namor, M.O.D.O.K., and Doom over the Cosmic Cube, Doom’s first battles against Thor and the Hulk, and the hiring of Luke Cage to track down a number of Doom’s rogue robots.

The Astonishing Tales (a split title featuring Ka-Zar) solo stories featuring Doctor Doom are also some Bronze Age cult favorites with Doom going up against the Red Skull and the Black Panther among others.

The Doctor Doom: Revolution in Latveria Epic Collection consists of 488 pages for a suggested cover price of $54.99.
