Peter David’s return to the world of 2099 comprise the bulk of the new Spider-Man 2099 Omnibus Vol. 2.
The Omnibus collects David’s continuation of his futuristic tales in the Spider-Man 2099 series from 2014 (twelve issues) and 2015 (twenty-five issues), as well as a crossover in Captain Marvel #27-30, and the five-issue Secret Wars 2099 mini-series.
Earlier future Spidey stories from 2099 Unlimited #1-3 and 8-10 are also included, creating a bridge between to the original series collected in Spider-Man 2099 Vol. 1.
O’Hara’s appearance in Dan Slott’s Superior Spider-Man #17-19 are also added as bonus material outside of the main narrative.
Art in the stories is provided by Will Sliney, co-creator Rick Leonardi, ChrisCross, Anibal Rodriguez, Chris Batista, Rich Perotta, and Ryan Stegman.
