Move Over Krampus; ‘Nosferatu’ is Coming on Christmas Day

According to the first teaser trailer for Robert Eggers long-awaited Nosferatu remake is finally coming to theaters and on Christmas Day 2024 no less.

Like the original 1922 film, the new version is more-than-loosely based on Bram Stoker’s 1897 novel Dracula and stars Bill Skarsgård, Nicholas Hoult, Lily-Rose Depp, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Emma Corrin, Ralph Ineson, Simon McBurney, and Willem Dafoe.

Development on the film began all the way back in 2015, following the release of Eggers’ The Witch.

Skarsgård will portray the malevolent Count Orlok in Nosferatu, adding to his supernatural villain resume.
