The Deluxe Edition of one of the best Teen Titans stories ever told is once again available at your local comic shop.
The New Teen Titans: The Judas Contract Deluxe Edition collects The New Teen Titans #39-44, The New Teen Titans Annual #3, and related story pages from World’s Finest #300 by Marv Wolfman, George Pérez, Dick Giordano, Mike DeCarlo, and Romeo Tanghal.
The hair-raising tale includes the retirement of Robin and Kid Flash, the birth of Nightwing, the introduction of Jericho, the secret origin of Deathstroke, a traitor in the Teen Titans midst, and the death of a member of the team.
The first printing of the Deluxe Edition was released in 2018 (with a different cover). The storyline was originally collected in trade paperback in 1988, and again in 2000 and 2017.
Most recently, “The Judas Contract” was collected in a DC Finest Edition of the same name in 2025, which contained even more material from the glory days of Wolfman and Pérez’ series.
The New Teen Titans: The Judas Contract Deluxe Edition hardcover consists of 216 pages for a suggested retail price of $29.99.
