Superman Tries to Find ‘The Invisible Luthor’ in New DC Finest Collection

DC continues their original Superman stories in the new Superman: The Invisible Luthor DC Finest collection.

The Invisible Luthor picks up right after DC Finest: Superman: The Coming of Superman with the Man of Steel’s appearances in Action Comics #26-40, Superman #6-11, New York World’s Fair #1940, World’s Best Comics, and World’s Finest #2-3.

The Golden Age stories (beginning in 1940) are written by Gene Baxter, Jerry Siegel, and Jack Burnley, with art by Sheldon Moldoff, Jack Burnley, Joe Shuster, George Papp, Wayne Boring, Paul Cassidy, Leo Novak, Ed Dobrotka, and John Sikela.

In an era before the dawn of super-powered villains, Superman must contend with giants, secret spy rings, gangsters, thieves, robots, and an invisible, yet familiar assailant who is holding the city’s water supply for ransom.

DC Finest: Superman: The Invisible Luthor consists of 600 pages for a suggested retail price of $39.99.
