Matt Wagner’s six-issue Batman and the Monster Men series from 2005 is back on the shelves at your local comic shop.
The first half of Wagner’s two-part Dark Moon Rising Saga (followed by Batman and the Mad Monk) focuses on the Dark Knight’s sophomore year fighting organized crime before transitioning to stranger threats to the city of Gotham in the form of Hugo Strange’s bizarre experiments.
Following the release of the original series, Monster Men was collected in trade paperback editions in 2006 and 2007.
Batman and the Mad Monk was last collected in 2007, so it makes sense for DC to complete the entire Dark Moon Rising Saga with a new trade paperback edition soon.
Batman and the Monster Men consists of 144 pages for a suggested cover price of $17.99.
