Lucasfilm Announces Multiple ‘Mandalorian’ Tie-In Books and Comics

Lucasfilm (via StarWars.com) just announced enough Mandalorian spin-off books to fill a sarlacc pit, with five new publication on the way in the near future, with many more to follow.

Lucasfilm’s new publishing initiative runs the gamut from art books, to adult sci-fi novels, to a variety of stories aimed at younger readers. The collection so far includes: The Art of The Mandalorian (Season One) by Phil Szostak, The Mandalorian: Original Novel by Adam Christopher, The Mandalorian: The Ultimate Visual Guide by Pablo Hidalgo, The Mandalorian: Allies & Enemies – Level Two Reader and The Mandalorian: 8×8 Storybook by Brooke Vitale, and The Mandalorian: Junior Novelization by Joe Schreiber.

Lucasfilm is also promising some new Mandalorian-inspired comics from Marvel and IDW Publishing, and additional magazines, novelty, and coloring and activity books. The kind-hearted bounty hunter will even get a Little Golden Book version when all is said and done (and we are guessing that a certain lovable alien will get the lion’s share of the illustrations in this edition).
