One of the most-revered Superman stories from the dawn of the Bronze Age is featured in the new Kryptonite Nevermore DC Finest collection.
Kryptonite Nevermore collects Action Comics #393-406 and Superman #233-238 and 240-246
All stories are written by Leo Dorfman, Cary Bates, Denny O’Neil, Edmond Hamilton, and Len Wein, with art by Curt Swan, Murphy Anderson, and George Klein.
In addition to the “Kryptonite Nevermore” title story (where all kryptonite on Earth has been turned into iron) the collection includes mostly stand-alone, one-and-done stories with plots revolving around things like Clark Kent’s move from newspaper to television journalism, Superman meeting and falling in love with Althera, the space Amazon, the Super-Panhandler of Metropolis, the man with the x-ray mind, and the “ghost” of superman.
DC Finest: Superman: Kryptonite Nevermore consists of 576 pages for suggested retail price $39.99.
