Conan Crowned in ‘King Conan: The Original Comics’ Omnibus Vol. 1

Call him King Conan or Conan the King, but in either case, Titan Comics and Heroic Signatures new King Conan: The Original Comics Omnibus Vol. 1 is a royal treat for fans of the Cimmerian.

The Omnibus collects King Conan #1-19 (the name would change to Conan the King starting with #20) by Roy Thomas, Doug Moench, Alan Zelenetz, John Buscema, Carmine Infantino, Keith Pollard, Ernie Colon, Alan Kupperberg, Ron Frenz, Ernie Chan, Danny Bulanadi, Bob McLeod, Aubrey Bradford, Frank Giacoia, Ricardo Villamonte, Jon D’Agostino, Rudy Nebres, Marie Severin, Mike Gustovich, Franc Reyes, Tony DeZuniga, Madz Castrillo, Paul Smith, Keith Pollard, Gil Kane, and Marc Silvestri. 

The original double-sized Marvel series (Marvel’s third title at the time, following Conan the Barbarian and Savage Sword of Conan) ushered in a new era for Conan in 1980, after the barbarian usurped the crown from Numedides to become ruler of Aquilonia.

The edition also includes an introduction by Thomas.

Marvel released the exact same Omnibus in 2022 when they held the Conan license.

King Conan: The Original Comics Omnibus Vol. 1 consists of 768 pages for a suggested retail price of $125.00.
