Ed Brubaker and Michael Lark continue the red hot Daredevil action (after the culmination of Brian Michael Bendis and Alex Maleev’s seminal run) in The Devil in Cell Block-D Modern Era Epic Collection.
The Modern Era collection includes Daredevil #82-94 and Daredevil Annual #1 by Brubaker and Lark, along with additional work by Ande Parks, Michael Lark, David Aja, Stefano Gaudiano, Lee Weeks, Leandro Fernandez, and Scott Koblish.
Brubaker and Lark begin their run by placing Matt Murdock in prison, as he attempts to track down Foggy Nelson’s killer, with plenty of obstacles in his way, none bigger than the Kingpin. In their second story arc, Matt heads out of Hell’s Kitchen to search for more answers in Europe in the “Devil Takes a Ride” storyline.
