Keith Giffen, J.M. DeMatteis, and Kevin Maguire’s irreverent Justice League series is collected once again in the latest Born Again edition.
The trade paperback includes 1987’s Justice League of America /International #1-17, Justice League of America Annual #1-2, and Suicide Squad #13.
Along with Giffen, DeMatteis, and Maguire, Justice League International: Born Again Vol. 1 also includes work by John Ostrander, Steve Leialoha, Luke McDonnell, Bill Willingham, Terry Austin, Al Gordon, Robert Campanella, Dick Giordano, Dennis Janke, Bob Lewis, Joe Rubinstein, P. Craig Russell, and Bill Wray.
The team’s initial roster (which starts as the Justice League of America until it becomes Justice League International in issue #7) opens with Doctor Light (Kimiyo Hoshi), Batman, Guy Gardner, Black Canary, Mr. Miracle, Oberon, Captain Marvel, Martian Manhunter, Blue Beetle, Dr. Fate, and Maxwell Lord, later adding Rocket Red and Captain Atom to the squad.
Justice League International: Born Again Vol. 1 (originally published in 2020) consists of 552 pages for a suggested retail price of $39.99.
