Coming directly from the mystical city of K’un-Lun, the Iron Fist 50th Anniversary Special arrives in August 2024.
The giant-size one-shot spotlights many Iron Fists from different eras, chief among them Marvel’s first character to wear the mantle: Danny Rand.
Rand’s story in the anthology will be by none other than the original Iron Fist writer Chris Claremont (with art by Lan Medina) for a story set during Rand’s early years, co-starring Wolverine.
Other stories included in the Special showcase a wide range of characters such as current Iron Fist Lin Lie (by Alyssa Wong and Von Randal), The Daughters of the Dragon (by Justina Ireland and Elena Casagrande), Heroes for Hire (by Frank Tieri and Ty Templeton), and a look at the future fate of Rand by Jason Loo and Whilce Portacio.
The 50th Anniversary Special also comes with three different covers to choose from by Alan Davis, Howard Chaykin, and Kevin Eastman.
Look for the Iron Fist 50th Anniversary Issue in stores on August 14.
