Johnny Blaze finally gets his very own Epic Collection, presenting the origin and first stories featuring the motor cycle-riding hellion known as Ghost Rider this May.
The Ghost Rider: Hell On Wheels Epic Collection includes his first appearance from 1972 in Marvel Spotlight #5, and his subsequent adventures in Marvel Spotlight #6-12, Ghost Rider #1-11, and a visit with Spidey in Marvel Team-Up #15.
Writers Gary Friedrich and Tony Isabella and artists Mike Ploog, Tom Sutton and Jim Mooney handle the bulk of the “demon speeding” in this first Epic Collection, with some assists from fellow Marvel Bullpen members Roy Thomas, Marv Wolfman, Doug Moench, Herb Trimpe, Sal Buscema, Frank Chiaramonte, Chic Stone, Syd Shores, John Tartaglione, Vince Colletta, Sal Trapani, and Jack Abel.
And if old flame-head alone doesn’t completely satisfy your hellish desires, don’t fret, because the collection also includes appearances from the Satan’s Saints Biker Gang, Daimon Hellstrom, the Son of Satan, and even Satan himself!
The Ghost Rider: Hell On Wheels Epic Collection contains 424 pages damned pages with a Gil Kane cover (from his first appearance) and a suggested retail hell price of $39.99.
Look for the collection in stores on May 4 and don’t say we didn’t warn you!
