Rare Elvira, Mistress of the Dark Comics Collected in Dynamite’s ‘Classic Years Omnibus Volume 1’

A bevy of classic Elivra, Mistress of the Dark comics are now available through Dynamite Entertainment’s latest Indiegogo campaign for Elvira Mistress of the Dark Classic Years Omnibus Volume One.

And as always, Elvira knows what fans want recalling that “People always ask me, ‘Elvira, how can we see more of you?’ Check out my comic book adventures! You may never have seen these stories! Now you can binge these long-lost tales in one big, sexy graphic novel. In my book, more is always better!”

The Elvira Mistress of the Dark Classic Years Omnibus is the first volume of the very hard to find series originally published by Claypool Comics in 1993 and is available in paperback or hardcover, collecting 26 issues (adding up to a whopping 600 pages, with a bonus story equaling .666 of an issue to boot).

The original Elvira series attracted a plethora of talent, including Paul Dini, Kurt Busiek, Tom Simonton, Dave Cockrum, Dan Spiegle, Fred Hembeck, and Neil Vokes, capturing all of the classic wit and sarcasm of the original Queen of Halloween.

Backers can pick up the first volume for a total of 31 days (starting today, April 13) with a flexible funding goal of $6,666. The campaign is full of extra add on goodies as well, such as variant covers, prints, cards, and even an Elvira adorned spirit board. Just in case you missed out on Elvira’s Quarantine special, The Omega Ma’am, you can also pick it up this time around.
