‘Deathstroke the Terminator by Marv Wolfman’ Omnibus Captures Slade Wilson’s First Solo Stories

One of Marv Wolfman and George Perez’s breakout stars from their historic Teen Titans run gets the solo spotlight in the new Deathstroke the Terminator by Marv Wolfman Omnibus Vol. 1.

The Omnibus collects the start of Slade Wilsons morally ambiguous adventures in 1991 with the debut of his title series in Deathstroke the Terminator #1-25, Deathstroke the Terminator Annual #1-2, and crossovers in New Teen Titans #70 and Superman #68.

The six-part Deathstroke-centered storyline called “The Kobra Kronicles,” (also featuring Peacemaker, Katana, Deadshot, and Dr. Light vs. Kobra and his mutated minions) from Showcase 93 #6-11 by Mike Baron, Gary Barker, Cary Nord, and Jose Marzan, Jr. is also included in the edition, as well as dossiers on Wilson from Who’s Who: The Definitive Directory of the DC Universe #23 and Who’s Who in the DC Universe Loose-Leaf Edition #9.

In addition to Wolfman, the Omnibus also contains writing by Steven Grant, Mike Baron, Dan Jurgens, David Cody Weiss, and Len Wein, and art by Perez, Art Nichols, Michael Golden, Andrew Paquette, Gabriel Morrissette, Vince Russell, Frank Turner, Phil Jimenez, Dan Jurgens, Steve Mitchell, John Statema, Al Vey, Dave Simons, Ian Akin, Mike Sellers, Charles Barnett, Brian Garvey, Jeff Brennnan, Brett Breeding, and Ray Kryssing.

As an added bonus, the volume also contains a new Introduction by Wolfman about the origins of Deathstroke and his popularity.

Deathstroke the Terminator by Marv Wolfman Omnibus Vol. 1 consists of 920 pages for a suggested retail price of $125.00.
