Return to the Golden Age of Comics for DC’s original superhero team in the new DC Finest collection starring the Justice Society America titled For America and Democracy.
The first JSA DC Finest edition collects All Star Comics #3-12 written by Gardner Fox with art by Everett E. Hibbard, Bernard Baily, Howard Sherman, Sheldon Moldoff, Creig Flessel, Martin Nodell, Ben Flinton, and and Sheldon Mayer.
The stories (from Winter 1940 to September 1942) feature the classic Golden Age versions of the the Flash, Hawkman, Hawkgirl, Green Lantern, the Atom, the Sandman, the Spectre, Doctor Fate, Dr. Mid-nite, Starman, Johnny Thunder, Red Tornado, and Hour Man, as they battle science villains and the Axis powers.
Each single issue of All-Star Comics consisted of 68 pages or more, which is why the volume totals 632 pages even though it only contains 10 issues.
