Trekkies should block out the first and second weeks of September for a 60th Anniversary celebration of Star Trek’s legacy on film and television at your local Cinemark theater.
Participating Cinemark locations will screen the first four theatrical films, paired with a related (thematic or story-wise) original series episode.
The action starts with Star Trek: The Motion Picture (Director’s Cut) and “The Changeling” on Friday, September 4, followed by Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan (Director’s Cut) and “Space Seed” on Saturday, September 5.
Star Trek III: The Search for Spock and “Amok Time” screens on Sunday, September 6 and Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home and “The City on the Edge of Forever” on Monday, September 8 to round out the Star Trek showcase.
And for those who want to make an entire day of it, Cinemark will show all four special pairings on Tuesday, September 8.
