Marv Wolfman and George Perez’s world-changing Crisis on Infinite Earths continues in the second volume of the new DC Finest collection, including all of the crossover titles published in chronological order.
DC Finest: Events: Crisis on Infinite Earths Part Two collects DC Comics Presents #86 and 95, Infinity Inc. #20-22, Infinity Inc. Annual #1, The New Teen Titans #13-14, Swamp Thing #44-46, Wonder Woman #328-329, Legends of the DC Universe: Crisis on Infinite Earths (1999), Crisis on Infinite Earths #5, All Star Squadron #53-56, and Superman #413.
All of the stories are written by Paul Kupperberg, Tony Isabella, Alan Gold, Roy Thomas, Dann Thomas, Marv Wolfman, Alan Moore, Mindy Newell, and Gerry Conway.
Art is provided by Rick Hoberg, Dave Hunt, Richard Howell, Murphy Anderson, Todd McFarlane, Mike Hernandez, Steve Montano, Tony DeZuniga, Mike Clark, Ron Harris, Dick Giordano, Alfredo Alcala, Eduardo Barreto, Romeo Tangha, Stephen R. This is the first time that the Crisis issues have been blended with the monthly crossover titles in reading order in one collected edition.
The only inclusion in Part 2 that strays from the original publication order is 1999’s Legends of the DC Universe: Crisis on Infinite Earths one-shot that revisited the original series and inserted more content to the original continuity.
DC previously released a three volume Crisis on Infinite Earths Companion Deluxe Edition series that collected all of the crossover titles, beginning in 2018.
With only Crisis #5 included in Part 2, it is apparent that it will take two more DC Finest volumes to finish off the series in this format.
DC Finest: Events: Crisis on Infinite Earths Part Two consists of 576 pages for a suggested retail price of $39.99.
