Beware of ‘The Hero Killers’ in New ‘Amazing Spider-Man’ Epic Collection

David Michelinie, Scott McDaniel, Keith Williams, Fabian Nicieza, and Brandon Peterson’s four part “The Hero Killers” cross-over, and the debut of Carnage, are the highlights of the latest Amazing Spider-Man Epic Collection.

Amazing Spider-Man: The Hero Killers Epic Collection contains 1992’s Spider-Man and New Warriors Annual team-up in The Amazing Spider-Man Annual #26, The Spectacular Spider-Man Annual #12, Web of Spider-Man Annual #8 and The New Warriors Annual #2, contending with the Dreadnoughts, The Beetle, Blacklash, Boomerang, Constrictor, Hydro-Man, Rhino, and former Nova villain, The Sphinx.

Amazing Spider-Man #361-367 (by Michelinie, Mark Bagley, and Randy Emberlin) are also included in the Epic Collection, with the first three-part Carnage story and origin as the centerpiece (and you know Venom is also along for the ride). The web-slinger’s 30th Anniversary is also celebrated in the collection with a showdown with the Lizard and the first appearance of Spider-Man 2099.

DeMatteis and Mike Zeck’s one-shot sequel to “Kraven’s Last Hunt” (which headlined a new Epic Collection of its own recently) entitled Soul of the Hunter is also included in The Hero Killers.

Amazing Spider-Man: The Hero Killers Epic Collection consists of 480 pages for a suggested retail price of $44.99. The Hero Killers will be available at your favorite comic shop on January 18.
