J.M. DeMatteis and Mike Zeck’s “Kraven’s Last Hunt” storyline is once again collected this week for those that want to relive one of the greatest Spider-Man stories ever told, and so a new generation of fans can discover it.
The new Epic Collection will mark the fourteenth time that the story has been collected, starting in 1989, just a few years after the original comics were printed.
The Kraven’s Last Hunt Epic Collection (previously published in 2017 and 2018) contains Amazing Spider-Man #289-294, Amazing Spider-Man Annual #20-21, Spider-Man vs. Wolverine One-Shot Special from 1987, Web of Spider-Man #29-32, and Spectacular Spider-Man #131-132.
Along with the main title story, Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson’s proposal and wedding are included in the collection, as well as the mystery behind The Hobgoblin and the tragic death of Ned Leeds.
The collection also includes work by David Michelinie, Peter David, Christopher Priest (writing as Jim Owsley), Jim Shooter, Ken McDonald, Fred Schiller, John Romita Jr., Alex Saviuk, Alan Kupperberg, Tom Palmer, Steve Geiger, Jack Abel, Kyle Baker, Jim Fern, Mark Beachum, Paul Ryan, and Mark Bright.
The Kraven’s Last Hunt Epic Collection consists of 496 pages for a suggested retail price of $44.99.
