Avengers Defend ‘This Beachhead Earth’ in New Epic Collection

Roy Thomas’ Bronze Age run continues in This Beachhead Earth Epic Collection with some of the most famous stories in Avengers history.

The Avengers: This Beachhead Earth Epic Collection (originally available in 2020) contains The Avengers #77-97 and a brief crossover with the green-skinned Goliath in The Incredible Hulk #140 (also written by Thomas and legendary science fiction writer Harlan Ellison). Artists represented in the collection include John Buscema, Sal Buscema, Frank Giacoia, Herb Trimpe, Tom Palmer, Jim Mooney, Sam Grainger, George Roussos, Alan Weiss, and Neal Adams.

This Beachhead Earth includes the first origin story of the Black Panther, the debut of the Lady Liberators and Red Wolf, the return of the Squadron Sinister and the Lethal Legion, and the collection ends with one of the most collected stories in Marvel history: the original Kree/Skrull War.

The Epic Collection consists of 504 pages for a suggested retail price of $49.99.
