Despite an internet rumor, Conskipper is happy to report that the original Annabelle doll is safe and secure in the Warren Occult Museum!
While caretaker Tony Spera has moved Annabelle out of the museum in recent years for conventions and TV specials, there is no truth to the rumor that the haunted doll was abducted in Chicago.
While supposedly on the lam, internet experts on TikTok claimed that the doll was responsible for fires, a jail break, and other disasters (although no one claimed that the doll was involved in The Great Train Robbery).
The official New England Society for Psychic Research’s facebook page simply stated “Just not true” to the vicious rumors.
The doll will continue to be displayed at conventions around the country, so please check the NESPR facebook page and website for further details.
