‘Aliens: The Original Years’ Vol. 3 Collects Early ’90s Mini-Series and Anthology Stories

Marvel is ready to launch readers into space once again, daring you to scream for a new set of Aliens mini-series, mini-comics, and anthology stories from the early ’90s.

The third volume in the Epic Collection series of original Dark Horse Comics’ series collects the Alien 3 Movie Adaptation #1-3 (by Steven Grant, Christopher Taylor, and Rick Magyar), Aliens: Rogue #1-4 (by Ian Edginton and Will Simpson), and Aliens: Labyrinth #1-4 (by Jim Woodring and Kilian Plunkett).

Anthology stories include Dark Horse Comics #3-5 (“Aliens: Horror Show,” by Sarah Byam and David Roach), #11-13, Dark Horse Previews #1-12, Dark Horse Previews #1, and Aliens UK Magazine #9-12.

The real rarity in the collection is the twelve issue Aliens: Space Marines mini-comic series, originally included with Kenner’s Aliens action figures line. The only one missing in this collection is issue #13, which was included in the Aliens vs. Predator two figure set, and didn’t continue the space marines storyline.

Marvel previously released the two other Aliens: The Original Years Epic Collection volumes in 2023 and 2024.

Aliens: The Original Years Vol. 3 Epic Collection consists of 472 page for a suggested retail price of $54.99.
