As the world continues to mourn the tragic loss of Chadwick Boseman, ABC will air a tribute to the Black Panther star that’s fit for a king. The network will play Black Panther commercial-free tonight, and follow the film with an ABC News Special entitled, Chadwick Boseman: A Tribute for a King. The film will begin at 8:00 p.m. EDT, and the special will follow at 10:20 p.m. EDT.
According to the Associated Press, Disney— which owns the ABC network and the Marvel Cinematic Universe films— said that the special, “will celebrate Boseman’s storied life, legacy and career” and “shine a light on the medical condition he privately battled.”
Boseman passed away on Friday after fighting colon cancer for the past four years. He was 43 years old.
