The reverse order event series finally reaches zero in the second half of the DC Finest: Events collection of 1994’s Zero Hour: Crisis in Time.
Zero Hour: Part Two collects Zero Hour: Crisis in Time #2-0, The Flash #0, Green Arrow #90, The Adventures of Superman #516, Justice League America #92, Action Comics #703, Justice League International #68, Legion of Super-Heroes #61, Green Lantern #0, Superman: The Man of Steel (#0, Guy Gardner Warrior #24, Justice League Task Force #16, Catwoman #14, Robin #10, Showcase ’94 #10, Damage #0 and 6, and Anima #7.
All stories in the edition are written by Mark Waid, Kevin Dooley, Karl Kesel, Christopher Priest, David Michelinie, Tom McCraw, Ron Marz, Louise Simonson, Beau Smith, Jo Duffy, Chuck Dixon, Mike McAvennie, Tom Joyner, Dan Jurgens, Paul Witcover and Elizabeth Hand, with art by Jurgens, Jerry Ordway, Mike Wieringo, Eduardo Barreto, Peter Krause, Luke Ross, Jackson “Butch” Guice, Stuart Immonen, Darryl Banks, Jon Bogdanove, Mitch Byrd, Phil Jimenez, Howard Porter, Greg LaRocque, Jim Balent, Tom Grummett, Jason Armstrong, Bill Marimon, Brent Anderson, Jose Marzan, Jr., Dennis Cramer, Denis Rodier, Ron Boyd, Romeo Tanghal, Dennis Janke, Mike Parobeck, Dan Davis, Rich Rankin, Bob Smith, Ray Kryssing, Don Hillsman, and Will Blyberg.
The conclusion of the event reshaped DC continuity in the 1990s (more of a soft reboot of the entire DC line, fixing some continuity issues that had existed ever since the original Crisis on Infinite Earths) and gave each surviving monthly title a new #0 issue.
Not all of the zero issues are included in the DC Finest collection, as some had much more to do with the aftermath of Zero Hour than others.
DC Finest: Events: Zero Hour Part One was released last December.
The DC Finest: Events: Zero Hour Part One consists of 560 pages for a suggested retail price $39.99.
