‘Zap Goes the Legion’ in First ‘DC Finest: Legion of Super-Heroes’ Collection

The first DC Finest collection of Legion of Super-Heroes material journeys back to the Silver and Bronze Age for a set of long out-of-print and foundational stories.

Legion of Super-Heroes: Zap Goes the Legion collects LOS stories from Action Comics #378-387 and 389-392, Adventure Comics #374-380 and 403, and Superboy #172-173, 176, 183-184, 188, 190-191, 193, 195, and 197-203.

All stories are written by Jim Shooter, E. Nelson Bridwell, and Cary Bates, with art by Win Mortimer, Jack Abel, Mike Esposito, Murphy Anderson, Curt Swan, Ross Andru, George Tuska, Vince Colletta, Dave Cockrum, Murphy Anderson, and Mike Grell.

The back-up stories (published between November 1968 and July 1974) include story arcs such as “War of the Wraith-Mates”, “The Fatal Five Who Twisted Time”, and “The Impossible Target”.

DC Finest: Legion of Super-Heroes: Zap Goes the Legion consists of 576 pages for a suggested retail price of $39.99.
