‘Wonder Woman by George Perez’ Vol. 2 Continues Legendary Artist’s Run

The classic late 1980’s George Pèrez run continues in the rereleased Wonder Woman by George Perez Vol. 2 trade paperback edition.

Vol. 2 collects Wonder Woman #15-24 and Wonder Woman Annual #1 by Pèrez, Len Wein, Brian Bolland, Chris Marrinan, Art Adams, John Bolton, Jose Luis Garcia-Lopez, Curt Swan, Ross Andru, Bob McLeod, Dick Giordano, Willie Blyberg, Bruce Patterson, Bob Smith, Frank McLaughlin, and Mark Farmer.

Highlights in the second volume include a two-issue battle with the Silver Swan and plenty of issues with Greek gods such as Circe and Phobos, the god of fear. Diana also decides to end Themyscira’s isolation policy and brings the Amazonian nation to the world stage.

This second volume in the series also includes a special gallery of archival art and information.

The previous Wonder Woman by George Pèrez trade paperback series consisted of six volumes, encompassing his nearly five-year run on the title. Pèrez originally intended to only do the first six issues of the series, but thankfully for us, he had a change of heart.

Vol. 1 was rereleased last October, restarting the trade paperback series.

Wonder Woman by George Pèrez Vol. 2 consists of 296 pages for a suggested retail price of $29.99.
