‘Wonder Woman 1984’ Nominated for Two Golden Raspberry Awards

While fans of Wonder Woman 1984 may not be happy with the news, the latest adventures of Diana Prince earned two Razzie nominations in the Worst Supporting Actress Award and Worst Prequel, Remake, Rip-off, or Sequel categories.

Kristen Wiig was singled out for her portrayal of the Cheetah in Wonder Woman 1984, joining Glen Close (Hillbilly Elegy), Lucy Hale and Maggie Q (Fantasy Island), and Maddie Ziegler (Music) on the dubious list.

Robert Downey Jr’s post-Iron Man career also received a thumb’s down, as Doolittle garnered six nominations including Worst Actor and Worst Screen Combo for Downey “…and his his utterly unconvincing “Welsh” accent.”

This year’s “Winners” of the 41st Annual Golden Raspberry Awards will be announced on “Oscar Eve,” Saturday, April 24. To see the full list of nominations, go to the Razzies official website here.
