Warner Bros. did the ole’ “DC Shuffle” yesterday with all of their highly-anticipated (and heavily marketed) films, moving Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom and The Flash to 2023 and Black Adam and Shazam! Fury of the Gods to new dates in 2022.
Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom is being pushed back from December 16 to March 17, 2023 and The Flash is sprinting from November 4 to the heat of the summer months next year on June 23, 2023.
Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam will now premiere on October 21, rather than July 29. DC League of Super-Pets (which features Johnson voicing Krypto) will assume the vacated July slot, moving from its original May 20 date. The Rock took to Instagram to promote the change and assure fans that all is well with the DC Universe.
Speaking of characters from the world of Shazam, Shazam! Fury of the Gods will move from June 2, 2023, to December 12, 2022,following hot on the heels of the Black Adam film.
