The second volume in the the Thunderbolts Epic Collection series continues the original “villains-masquerading-as-heroes” comic by Kurt Busiek, Mark Bagley, and Scott Hanna.
The Thunderbolts: Wanted Dead or Alive Epic Collection includes Thunderbolts #13-25, Thunderbolts Wizard Edition #0, Captain America Annual #1998, and The Avengers #12.
In addition to Busiek, Bagley, and Hanna, Wanted Dead or Alive also contains work by Karl Kesel, Barbara Kese, George Pérez, Jon Holdredge, Greg Adams, Al Vey, Bob Wiacek, and Al Milgrom.
The storyline picks up in 1998 after Baron Zemo’s plan has been exposed, forcing the members of the team to deal with all of the fallout, and Hawkeye becomes the new leader of the team of possibly reformed super villains such as Moonstone, Atlas, Jolt, MACH-1, and Songbird. The ‘Bolts also face off with a new version of the Masters of Evil featuring the Crimson Cowl, Cyclone, Flying Tiger, Klaw, Man-Killer, and Tiger Shark.
The Epic Collection consists of 432 pages for a suggested retail price of $44.99.
