The twenty-part Thor: The Eternals Saga is once again collected in a new Epic Collection.
The Epic Collection version collects Thor #281-302, Thor Annual #8, and Thor stories from Marvel Treasury Edition #24 and 26.
All stories are written by Roy Thomas, Ralph Macchio, Mark Gruenwald, and Jo Duffy, with art by Keith Pollard, John Buscema, Arvell Jones, Ricardo Villamonte, Ken Landgraf, Chic Stone, Pablo Marcos, Marie Severin, Al Milgrom, Gene Day, Tony DeZuniga, and George Perez.
Thor gets himself directly involved in the business of the Eternals, raising all sort of existential questions for him about his father Odin, Ragnarok, his mother, and the threat of the Celestials. Plenty of secrets of Marvel’s gods are uncovered, as well as the true story of the Destroyer’s creation.
In addition to the main event, Thor also battles Zeus for the title of the true Thunder god and fights Hyperion from the Squadron Supreme.
The Eternals Saga was originally collect in a two volume set in 2006 and 2007, and then again in 2021 titled Thor and The Eternals: The Celestials Saga. The 2021 version is identical to the Epic Collection edition, sans the two short stories featuring Hercules from the Marvel Treasury Editions.
Thor: The Eternals Saga consists of 496 pages for a suggested cover price of $44.99.
