One of the “finest” storylines of the 1980s gets rereleased in the first Teen Titans DC Finest Collection titled The Judas Contract.
DC Finest: Teen Titans: The Judas Contract collects The New Teen Titans #33-47, The New Teen Titans Annual #2-4, The Vigilante #3, Batman and the Outsiders #5, Action Comics #546, and a story from World’s Finest #300 by Marv Wolfman, George Pérez, Mike W. Barr, Romeo Tanghal, Pablo Marcos, Keith Pollard, Gil Kane, Jim Aparo, Dick Giordano, and Mike Decarlo.
The seminal storyline from 1984 kicks off right after the resignation of Robin and Kid Flash and details the origins of Deathstroke and Terra, the debut of Nightwing, and the death of a Titan.
DC Finest: Teen Titans: The Judas Contract consists of 560 pages for a suggested retail price of $39.99.

I was around at the beginning of the Wolfman/Perez Titans, but I didn’t stay at the party long enough to experience this storyline. I’m familiar with some of it from other media. I may have to break down and purchase this.
