The Infernal Hulk and Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends are your hosts for this year’s Marvel’s Trick-or-Read promotion at your local comic shop.
Fans can pick up reprint versions of Infernal Hulk #1 (by Phillip Kennedy Johnson and Nic Klein) and Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends #1 (by Danielle Kreger and Goodman Yamada) at Marvel’s Halloween Trick-Or-Read 2026, beginning on October 7.
There are no specific rules surrounding the annual Halloween event, and it is essentially up to participating comic shops to determine how they offer the comics to customers, either through Free Comic Book Day-style grab-and-go, giveaways, or even spooky contests.
The first The Infernal Hulk issue sets up the series of five one-shots, featuring battles against many of Marvel’s finest (which started with Infernal Hulk vs. Wolverine #1 on September 23).
