The Folio Society continues their foray into classic comic book characters with the one who started it all: DC Comics Superman.
The deluxe hardcover edition traces the rise of Superman from the start of the Golden Age of comics to modern day through a series of 12 stories (all written before 2000) selected by former DC publisher Jenette Kahn by Superman creators Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, Curt Swan, Marshall Rogers, Alan Moore, John Byrne, Dan Jurgens, Paul Dini and Alex Ross, and more.

The collection also includes a replica of Superman #1 in its original Golden Age format and an illustrated slipcase.
The collection also features a foreward by Marjorie Liu about what Superman means to her.
The Folio Society released a DC: Batman edition last year.
The Folio Society’s DC: Superman hardcover consists of 312 pages for a suggested retail price of $100.
