The Teen Titans: The Bronze Age Omnibus is back in print to detail the adventures of DC’s teen heroes in a new era.
The Omnibus (originally released in 2017) collects Teen Titans #25-53, Brave and the Bold #94, 102, and 149, Batman Family #6, 8-9, and World’s Finest #205.
All stories are written by Bob Haney, Bob Rozakis, Steve Skeates, Bob Kanigher, and Paul Levitz. Art is provided by Nick Cardy, George Tuska, Irv Novick, Art Saaf, Jim Aparo, Joe Giella, Vince Colletta, Don Heck, Sal Amendola, Bob Brown, Jose Delbo, Dick Dillin, Ernie Chan, Pablo Marcos, Juan Ortiz, Carmine Infantino, Neal Adams, Dave Cockrum, Tex Blaisdell, Frank Chiaramonte, John Fuller, Frank McLaughlin, and Bob Smith.
The college-aged members of the Teen Titans enter the Bronze Age and confront real-world issues of war, protest, and juvenile delinquency, as well as various villains such as the Black Earl of Moray, Lord Beetle, The Fiddler, Captain Calamity, Dr. Light, and Two-Face.
Many of the stories are also surprisingly horror-themed with trouble with ghouls, wizards, witches, and demons.
Other highlights include team-ups with Batman, Aqualad and Aquagirl’s trip to a 1971 rock concert and the introduction of Teen Titans West (comprised of Beast Boy, Gnarrk, Hawk, Dove, Bat-Girl, and Golden Eagle).
The team disbands at the end of 1979, but not for long, as the classic George Perez and Marv Wolfman run begins in 1980.
Teen Titans: The Bronze Age consists of 792 pages for a suggested retail price of $100.00.
