Marv Wolfman and George Perez’s Teen Titans run wraps up in The New Titans Omnibus Vol. 1, before heading into a new direction for the team.
The Omnibus collects The New Titans #50-70, The New Titans Annual #5-6, Secret Origins Annual #3, Batman #436-442, Hawk and Dove #11-12, Hawk and Dove Annual #1, Wonder Woman #47-48, a story from Secret Origins #46 about Titans Tower, and a few Titans-related pages from Wonder Woman #22-23.
In addition to Wolfman and Perez, the Omnibus contains work by Barbara Kesel, Karl Kesel, Mark Bright, Tom Grummett, Steve Erwin, Chris Wozniak, Paris Cullins, Curt Swan, Pat Broderick, Greg Guler, Dave Hoover, Vince Giarrano, Bob McLeod, Romeo Tanghal, Al Vey, Bob Smith, Will Blyberg, Carlos Garzon, Grant Miehm, Anthony Van Bruggen, Irv Novick, Ty Templeton, Michael Bair, Trevor Von Eeden, Dave Cockrum, Larry Mahlstedt, Kevin Maguire, Colleen Doran, Dick Giordano, John Beatty, Scott Hanna, Tom Artis, and Bill Wray.
Highlights in the Omnibus include the origins and rebirth of Donna Troy as Troia in the “Who is Wonder Girl?” storyline, the return of Deathstroke, plenty of new team members, Dick Grayson’s origins in “Batman: Year 3”, a Titans team-up with Batman in “Batman: A Lonely Place of Dying”, and the “Titan Plague” storyline.
The Omnibus also contains a foreword by Jonathan Peterson and an afterword by Tom Grummett.
The New Titans Omnibus Vol. 1 consists of 1,250 pages for a suggested retail price of $125.00.
