Julien’s Auctions and TCM’s Hollywood Legends: Danger, Disaster, and Disco event promises a treasure trove of movie memorabilia from films such as The Big Lebowski, Star Wars, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Saturday Night Fever, and E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial.
Some highlights include: one of the Lost Ark of the Covenant props from Raiders of the Lost Ark, E.T.’s flying bicycles, bowling attire worn by the cast of The Big Lebowski, and the light-up dance floor from Saturday Night Fever (currently the biggest ticket item, with an estimated $200,000 to $3000,000 final price).
In addition to all of the expensive items, there are plenty of vintage posters, lobby cards, and other props up for bid as well.
The festivities kick off on June 12 at 7:00 PM PDT for the first Lot (Lots 1 – 32), followed on June 13 at 10:00 AM PDT (Lot 33 – 607) and June 14 at 10:00 AM PDT (Lot 608 – 1223).
