Synapse Films Brings ‘Crocodile’ to the Surface for First Blu-Ray Release

1979’s Jaws and Godzilla-inspired Crocodile swims to shore on July 9 in a brand new Blu-ray from Synapse Films.

The Crocodile Blu-ray is the first of its kind and was created from a new restoration of the original English 35mm camera negative.

The trouble starts when doctors Tony Akom (Nat Puvani) and John Stromm (Min Oo) take their wives on a seemingly quiet beach vacation before an atomic-powered giant Crocodile swims to the surface to terrorize humans, livestock, and plenty of miniature houses.

The Blu-ray also includes an audio commentary with film historian Lee Gambin, a video interview with original director Won-se Lee, the original theatrical trailer, and deleted and alternate scenes.

Look for Crocodile at your favorite video store on July 9 and check out the Blu-Ray case and classic trailer below to see just what you are getting into (most likely a giant reptilian’s mouth).
