Superman Races The Flash Again in Limited Collectors’ Edition Facsimile Comic

One of those early school yard recess debates gets ignited again with the release of the facsimile version of Superman vs. the Flash DC Limited Collectors’ Edition (#C-48).

The treasury-sized comic from 1976 by E. Nelson Bridwell, Jim Shooter, Curt Swan, Ross Andru, Neal Adams, Carmine Infantino, George Klein, and Dick Giordano pits the two fastest heroes in the land against each other for one of the greatest races of all time.

The issue also includes bonus features such as a tour of Superman’s Fortress of Solitude, a “How to Draw the Flash!” lesson by Infantino, a Flash puzzle, and a tabletop diorama on the back cover.

The Superman vs. the Flash DC Limited Collectors’ Edition consists of 56 pages for a suggested cover price of $14.99 (only $13.99 more than a copy would have cost you in 1976).
