‘Punisher & Fury by Garth Ennis, Jacen Burrows, and Goran Parlov’ Omnibus Takes it to the MAX

Garth Ennis, Jacen Burrows, and Goran Parlov’s Punisher and Fury series are collected in one bloody Max Omnibus.

The Omnibus collects Ennis and Parlov’s Punisher: The Platoon #1-6 and Fury MAX #1-13 and Ennis and Burrows’ Get Fury #1-6 and Punisher: Soviet #1-6.

Each series is steeped in real history (particularly the Vietnam era) with the addition of both Frank Castle’s bloodlust and Nick Fury’s scheming mixed in for good measure.

When asked about how he approaches a Frank Castle in Vietnam story vs. a modern Punisher tale, Ennis said, “Frank himself isn’t too different, he’s as ruthless and dedicated as a Marine Recon officer as he later will be as the Punisher. He does still entertain a vague sense of hope that his life will change for the better one day, the gates of hell haven’t quite slammed shut on him at this point—although that’s not a point I intend to labor. Beyond that it’s really a question of writing a war/espionage story rather than a crime thriller.”

All of the series are currently out of print in other formats.

The Punisher & Fury by Garth Ennis, Jacen Burrows, and Goran Parlov Omnibus consists of 712 pages for a suggested retail price of $100.00.
