Peter David’s five Symbiote-Spider-Man mini-series are now available in a new Omnibus.
The Symbiote Spider-Man by Peter David Omnibus collects Symbiote Spider-Man #1-5, Symbiote Spider-Man: Alien Reality #1-5, Symbiote Spider-Man: King in Black #1-5, Symbiote Spider-Man: Crossroads #1-5 and Symbiote Spider-Man 2099 #1-5.
David is joined by artists Greg Land, Jay Leisten, Iban Coello, Francesco Mobili, Roge Antonio, Al Milgrom, Herb Trimpe, Jim Mooney, Geof Isherwood, Bob Sharen, A. Kaotic, Joe Rosen, and Diana Albers.
All of the Peter Parker stories take place in the interim between his original acquisition of the symbiote suit in Secret Wars and their eventual separation (which leads to the creation of Venom).
The in-continuity stories include the Black Cat being blackmailed by Mysterio, a battle with the leveled-up Hobgoblin, a precursor to King in Black involving the Black Knight and Kang the Conqueror, and a trip across realities with David’s signature characters the Hulk.
David also returns his Spider-Man 2099 legacy with a new story featuring Miguel O’Hara and another pesky symbiote.
The Omnibus also includes a new introduction by Ralph Macchio.
The Symbiote Spider-Man by Peter David Omnibus consists of 632 pages for a suggested retail price of $100.00.
