Patty Jenkins will follow up her directorial journey through Themyscira with a trip to a galaxy far, far away. The Wonder Woman 1984 director will helm Star Wars: Rogue Squadron for Lucasfilm.
Jenkins marked her announcement with a short video where she discusses her experience of being the daughter of a great fighter pilot and her desire to make the greatest fighter pilot movie of all time.
Patty Jenkins burst on to the scene in 2003 with Monster. 2017’s Wonder Woman made her a force to be reckoned with when it comes to major motion picture blockbuster adventures, and 2020’s Wonder Woman 1984 and 2022’s Cleopatra are set to continue that trend.
