Bruce Banner’s cousin is about to enter the MCU via a new Disney Plus series, and she will be played by Orphan Black’s Tatiana Maslany.
Deadline broke the casting news and although it has not been officially confirmed by Maslany’s representation or Disney, Marc Ruffalo immediately took to twitter to welcome his “cousin” to the Marvel family.
Maslany is no stranger to the world of science fiction or action, as she was nominated for three Emmys and a Golden Globe during her time on the BBC’s Orphan Black. Maslany won an Emmy for her work on the program in the best actress in a drama category in 2016.
There is currently no timetable for production to start on She-Hulk, but it is one of several Marvel series lined up at Disney Plus, including Falcon and the Winter Soldier, WandaVision, and Loki in late 2020 or early 2021. She-Hulk joins a long list of shows in development from Marvel Studios such as Hawkeye, Ms. Marvel, and Moon Knight.
